shRinking and grOwing
Here's something to ponder over:
If we want to enter into a relationship with any person, we have to be willing to make room for them in our hearts and in our lives.
If you want to live alone, you can decide where all the furniture goes, you can spread your belongings all over the house, you can take up as much space as you want. But if you want to create a life with someone, you have to be willing to compromise, to welcome his taste or her stuff.
If you want to be alone, you can choose where you want to eat and what you want to eat and what movie you want to see after you eat. But if you want to be in a relationship, you have to shrink and make room for someone else's desires.
Only by contracting our needs and wants can we recieve the blessings that another person can add to our lives.
