Flora

I love flowers. So i had my full (seeing i mean) during Tokyo trip. The flowers there are so very much different from Spore.

Speaking of flowers, the only one time i recieved flowers or rather flower was on the V day at 05. The guy was Obasan's ex-collegeue. He came all the way to Woodlands MRT station to pass me the stalk of blue rose. Apart from the stalk of blue rose, there was also a voice recorder soft toy.

Truth be told, i wasnt appreciative of his gesture at that time cause i jus simply is not interested in him. Furthermore, i dun like one, two or three stalks of flowers. It looks quite pathetic to me.

So wat happened to that stalk of rose and the soft toy? hahaha.....i "dumped" it inside my store room. The stalk of rose, was handled very much later by my mum and i never asked wat did she do to it but i never saw the rose ever again. The soft toy? In the first place, i dun like soft toy but recently i retrived it from the store room and and decided to play ard with its voice recorder ability but.......a few days later, i sent it to its home town again.

these pics are taken oustide the houses in Kamakura. Wow, wat a beautiful sight to wake up to in the morning :)

Japan,Tokyo-Hotels Stay

Here's a sum up of the three hotels i stayed in during my trip in Tokyo.

I always have a thing for hotels, guess probably due to the fact that i worked in a hotel b4. Oh ya...these three Hotels complimentary shampoo and soap are not in small bottles that allows guests to take back for memoirs. The offer a lot of toiletries like even shavers and shower towels. But i have warn that, hotel's shavers sucks. or rather tokyo's shavers (normal, no brand kinds i mean) sucks BIG TIME. it cut my skin big time! but i eventually did buy a Gillete shaver and no more torture to my skin.

Hotel Parkside

Sorry, no personal photos cause i 4got to take pics of the room but its my fav. hotel among the three. Parkside is a lot smaller than Hotel Strix but i like the cozyness and warmth of small rooms but i also like big rooms at times. Most imptly, the toilet and shower place are together. The previous two hotel's toilet and shower place are seperated. Btw Parkside is the most expensive among the three hotels

Hotel Strix

We were lucky at tis hotel, i should say. Why? Cause we were given a free upgrade from standard room to superior room. Guess they had a shortage of standard rooms and since we are staying only for one night. The amenties given were up to my standard and they even have shower towel and i took it back to Spore, havent use it yet. :) I like the bed and the blanket, warm and cozy. One regretable thing :( is tat, we MISSED the bfast. Nw i promised myself that this is gg to happen to me ever Again.

Hotel Matsushima
it is also called a Hostel or Backpackers Inn. Its a Shocker-BIG time when i saw the room. It is totally different from wat we see from the website. We were given 3 beds. Why would we need 3 beds for? Bt Obasan said that these kind of arrangement is gd when couples quarrel. Matsushima do meet the basic requirements. Oh, one plus point is that u get to surf the internet for free. (there are 2 comps available for the whole hostel) The key to open the door is really a "KEY" cause nowadays Hotels uses Card to open doors so i was kinda ...."oh".. But the rates are pretty gd lah.

Rain, rain, go Away.....

These are the umbrellas i bought in Japan and hauled it all the way back to Spore.

Talk abt rain and unbrellas, i have a story to share...

17th Jul 06, Tokyo, Odaiba City.

It was raining. So i decided to use one of my cutie unbrellas. I realised that one cutie umbrella is too small for 2 person so i decided to use another one.

So i said to my guy "eh, u take tis umbrella first, i open another one."

Guess Wat?

He took the umbrella and walked away from me. Leaving me in the rain, struggling to open the other umbrella.

Ladies and gentlemen, tis is my MUM.

Birthday Present

Birthday coming....naturally Birthday Presents will also come into the pic...in this case, my conservation with my mum and bro.

Me "my bday coming leh...bro, wat present u giving me tis year?"

Mum (as usual KPO and wans to participate in my conservation wif my bro) "eh, u v thick face hor, u still remember wat present he gave u and wat present u gave him last year?"

Me "he gave me the ipod scuffle and i gave him....a white light torch light that cost SGD$15 from BALI....e torch light is no ordinary torch light hor.....take economy class flight back to Spore hor!"

Bro "smiled and proceed to pack his stuff"

then i turned my attention to my mum and told her wat present i want from her tis year. Tis is wat i wan tis year:

Yes.....Bird Nest.

Me "i wan 1 box.....i want e whole box (6 bottles) to myself. " (normally, my mum will buy 1 box and me and my bro will get 2 bottles each and my dad and mum, one bottle each)

Mum "........."

The reason why i am sooo into Bird Nest nowdays?

For Ladies, frequent consumption of Bird Nest can result in fairer skin, helps to stay young and look radiant.
(tis is only one of the major benefits tat Bird Nest offers)

Seriously, its not tat i look old nw....but who doesn't wan fairer, better looking complexion?

Birthday

Its a normal week night with my Mum watching TV in the living room...and this "hur hur" conversation starts:

Mum" when u gg Japan ah?"

Me" leaving on the 12th night lah...back on 18th lah"

Mum"oh.....then ur bday on the 17th leh...u remember or nt, that means u gg to spend ur bday there ah?"

Me" pls lor....u think i dun knw meh....i purposely choose my bday to go lor!"

Mum" hahaha...oh....not bad ah....."

Me" -_-""" "

SteambOat Liar

Steamboat....yes. For tis year's Father's Day celebration.

Can't believe it when my mum said that we should have steamboat every mth cause she said that we have to use the steamboat frequently so that it wouldn't get spolit easily.
huh? my LAZY mum who always without fail will rave abt how troublesome it is to prepare steamboat ingredients would actually said that "steamboat every mth" .

I always love steamboat and would want to have steamboat on every New Year's eve reunion dinner (reunion dinner won't be reunion dinner if we dun have steamboat- to me)...I remembered that in order to knock off the idea of me pestering her to have steamboat for reunion dinner, she LIED to me and my bro that the Steamboat equipment is spoilt.

Liar, Liar

Unusual Lunch Time

Lunch time yesterday was Unusual.........how Unusual can it be?

Well... initally, i had the intention to eat my favourite chicken chop wif spaghetti but ended up ordering a bowl of noodles with Sartha instead.

Fine....after the bowl of noodles, i realised that it jus simply cannot curb my crave for the chicken chop wif spaghetti so i decided to do the unthinkable...

i went to order chicken chop wif sphagetti.....and finished all of it!

I am so proud of myself....HAHAHAHA....

During the course of cutting my chicken chop, i made a terrible noise wif my knife and fork. Naturally, i apologize to e Uncle (sharing the table wif us) for my improper dinning etiquette.

He looked at me and smiled and tis follows:
"Wow...gd appetite huh" Didn't take ur dinner last nite ah?"

My reply "hahaha"

TOO much....

At 5.00pm yesterday at office, Ruby came to Sartha's and my area to tell us that she is gg to leave the office earlier at 5.15pm cause she is rushing to watch Superman at Great World City for the 5.40pm show.

Naturally the question would come up......"why u choose such an early slot? and why Great World City when our office is jus a stone throw away from Cineleisure."

Well.....cause Great World City is only 5 mins bus ride away from her hse.

"So wat...today is Fri night leh. Wats e rush huh?"

Cause her husband wans to rush back to watch soccer match. ok....reason acceptable.

Here comes the high tide.....

her husband is on leave so he can definetly reach Great World City earlier than her. Her husband asked her if she can really make it on time or not.

Cause He dun wan to miss the first part and that equals to wasting his MONEY and he even suggested that

"why not i go in the theater first huh then after u reach then u call me lah, i come out and take u in"

TOO MUCH!

Implusive buying

Dun know wat is wrong wif me.

Always buy stuff at this moment, then after i walked out of the shop than i realised

i.....actually dun really like the stuff i bought.

i shld have waited, walk ard a bit more before making my final decision.

A waste of my money and worse....

i have only myself to blame.

2 mths

Ya.....its been 2 mths since i last blogged.

Reasons:
  1. lost the enthusiasm to blog
  2. nothing interesting has happened in my life
  3. too lazy to type
  4. too lazy to switch on the comp

But i am back now.......as for now.....
