Gift exchanging tis year wif Obasan is in "notes" terms. We decided to give each other $25.

Initally i was tinking maybe we buy for ourselves wat we wan then we put the reciept into a box and present it to each other (sort of as a "gift"). After seeing the amount on the reciept, we shall transfer the amount as stated to each other. But....Nah, she dun like e idea. For e fun of it mah :p

Kris find us each other $25 a bit bur liao cause she said might as well dun give la. The point is ...is the idea of exchanging. Isnt it?

This is wat i bought at kino with the $25 yesterday while waiting for kris. I didn't go with the intention of getting something. Browsing here and there, this caught my attention. Chinese Travel mag featuring Greece, Aegean Sea and the other on Hokkiado. I was deciding between Hokkiado or the other on Finland, Denmark, Norway. In th end, i chose Hokkiado cause i have been entertaining the tot of visiting there. Greece was the number 1 choice, no need to tink so much, due to the fact that i was wtaching the Love at Agean Sea drama before i left the hse ba.

Tis is my plan.

After i finish my degree in 2 yrs time, tat will be end of 08. Activation of the plan will only start in 09. Tis is wat i have in mind so far.

Spore - Greece-Japan(Hokkiado, Tokyo, Oasksa)-Spore

i intend to use 1 mth to accomplish this. But hor, do i have so much leave? hahahaha!!!!!

Christmas Eve

Guess wat i did on Christmas Eve?

Sleeping!

Yes. i tink i slept at ard 11.30pm.
tink after 12am, a couple of Xmas greetings came in but i really didnt bother too much lah.

But then, i was surprised to recieve a Xmas sms greeting from the name "Ivy Jong".
She was an ex-colleague from Aji Ichiban. I used to wk at this tibits chain during my 6mths break after 'O' levels. Its been dun knw how long since we contact each other.

Dun knw why......No Mood leh....but i am gg out ltr to PA's place for so call "fondue party".

But nw, i have to figure out hw to do mail merge cause my "deadline" is drawing closer....

Stay Over

My cOusin is over at place for a stayOver stint.

Brought him out for a movie 'Night at the Museum'. Its a "cute" movie lah. Interesting though.

I quite like the shade of the skin. Looks calming and relaxing to me. Quite satisfied lah.

Mail Merge

As my boss wans to send out invities so he asked us to start figuring out how to use the mail merge function.

Tis conversation is extracted on fri in the office.

Me: hws the mail merge thingy? U figured it out?

Sartha: :) i am playing ard wif it now.

Me: Great! I got bring my Excel book leh but i cnt find any Mail Merge function in the book leh. Maybe because my book is the Yr 2000 version lah. Older version mayb dun have ba.

Sartha: Huh? Excel? Mail Merge is in MS Word wat.

Me: Huh? Mail Merge is in MS Word!?!?!?! I tot its in Excel! Hw come ah? Why did i have e perception tat Mail Merge is in Excel?

Sartha: I dun know, let me see whether Excel got Mail Merge. :p

Mos Burger

Pearly has never eaten Mos Burger before.

I was shocked. Ying was surprised too.

But she tried Mos Burger last night. Courtesy to Ying and me.

As Ying and i are too tired to drag our feet to the counter so we requested for Pearly to get the food. To faciliate a smooth ordering process, we wrote dwn the menu for the night for her.

The Last Kiss

There was never a movie like this, which has such a huge impact and has the ability to affect me so much that i could felt the pain Jenna was feeling.

Its shows me the reality of relationships, sex, love, lies and temptation.

It teaches me that its not the words that you say, its the actions that you do matters. Dun jus say u love somebody, you have to show that you love that somebody.

Michael and Jenna are a couple dating for 3yrs and now Jenna is unexpectly pregnant with their first child. Unexpectly...obviously means its a unplanned pregnancy. On the surface, Michael is cool and together with Jenna, expecting the birth of their first child.

Attached

While attending a friend's wedding, a girl called Kim caught Michael's attention. Or rather, you can say that this Kim whom took the initative to get Michael's attention. When Kim asked Michael if he's attached, it took him a couple of seconds to say "i have a girlfriend". Despite knowing that Michael attached, Kim still wanted to give him her no but cause he did not have any paper wif him so Kim told him where she usually hang out at this place on Mons, Weds after 5pm.

Infatuation

Michael did turned up, as according to the "clues" given, to look for her. During this meet up, Kim invited Michael to this party during the wkend. Before he went to the party, he asked his frene Chris to be his alibil cause he will be telling Jenna that he will be with Chris. Chris refused to help him. He told Michael "Jenna's perfect, she's like a man". But Michael denied and claimed he's jus meeting a frene.

Lie

So Michael lied to Jenna that he's meeting Chris and left the house while Jenna left for her dad's hse.

Temptation

Michael had fun wif Kim at the party. He clamied that Kim makes him feels much younger. They kisssed several times. Obviously, sex is next. Micheal did said "i really really wanna have sex with you" But he resisted despite Kim's advanced seduction.

Exposed

While the fooling ard was going on at Michael's end, one of Michael's frene's dad passed away. Jenna was trying very hard to get Michael but as you know, he's fooling ard wat so he didnt pick up any calls. So Jenna arrived at the frene's place.......to find Chris there too. Chris didnt help to cover Michael up, which i feel is right. I guess its the woman's sixth sense or its common sense, the moment Chris said "Michael's not wif me. I dun know where he is" She knew something was wrong. She simply went crazy....The burning question on Jenna's mind "who is she?"

Confrontation

Michael went home to find a teary Jenna standing, waiting for him. "Who is She? Did you have sex with her?" i was amazed that she simply and immdiately jumped to conclusions. But she wasnt jumping to conclusions. She was right! I guessed that its the woman's sixth sense is at work. "We kissed" was Michael's reply. "How many times?" Jenna pressed on. "Several times" Michael confessed.

Jenna simply lost control of herself. I was shocked cause i never imagined that Jenna would reacted so strongly as she appears strong to me. But if this happens to any woman, she will simply go crazy. No Explaination needed.

"I am 3 mths pregnant and you are out there fucking other woman."

"We are only 3 yrs into the relationship and you are out there fucking other woman. What's going to happen 10 yrs dwn the dwn?"

Betrayal

jus at Michael stormly left the hse, Kim called and requseted Michael to go over her place to talk to her even promised him that she wont touch him. Big FAT LIE!
Michael went over and outside the room, jus after secs said "i promise i wont touch u" they started kissing. So....i guessed everyone knows wat happened next. But the point i wan to stressed is that jus as they are abt to do it, Michael appears hestiant. But Kim said "i dun care wat happens tml". True enough, they did sleep together.

I was utterly disappointed with Michael! So very disappointed with Michael. He claimed he loves Jenna, how could he have sex with another woman! He knew his ass is in trouble yet he decided to further aggrevate the situation. That's why i said, he dont deserve to be forgiven.

He went back to Jenna after leaving Kim's place, promising Kim that he will call.

Back Home

Jenna went back home. At the doorstep, she cried in her mother's arms. I cried too, with Jenna. I felt so strongly the pain that Jenna was feeling. It was much later that i found out from Ying that she cried too.

Confession

As Michael didnt take Kim's call so she went to his office to look for him with a gift. She burned a cd for him. The first song is the song that they danced to. Now then Michael told Kim that he's gg have a baby and he loves Jenna. ok...the thing is Kim says she "dun care wat happens tml" so why did she go looking for Michael. Obviously, tml comes.

Like any normal script, Michael came looking for Jenna. He explained to Jenna that he was worried that he's life seems all planned out and he's worried that there wont be any more surprises. He wasnt sure whther he's ready to settle dwn or nt. Jerk! That doesnt give him any reasons to fuck another woman! When Jenna was abt to go back to the arms of Michael, he confessed that he went back to Kim tat very night. Jenna exploded! Michael said "at least i told u. Icould have kept it from you." Fuck! Michael think wat? So Jenna shld be grateful that he told her the truth?" She has every single right to know the truth.

Treatment

Jenna ran back to their rented apartment. She refused to let Michael in. Michael wont leave the doorstep until Jenna talks to him. He really didnt leave the doorstep at all. I believe Jenna's heart soften day by day. On this cold night, she threw a blanket at him. The next morning, she threw a sandwich on him before leaving the hse.

Ending

On this raining night, Jenna opened the door.

I dun like the ending. In fact, i was very worked up with the whole story! I dun tink Jenna shld forgive Michael. Michael dont deserve Jenna and the baby. He was the one who has everything in hands but chose to ruin it.

"Everythings' planned out" - That's hw the life cycle is! Wk up plse!

Surprises are in everyday's life. Michael is jus a greedy jerk. Simply put it, he is not satisfied with wat he has.

Blantly put it, he has to fucked another woman to realise he really loves Jenna. Bloody ridiculous! Then all the other men out there has to cheat on their girlfriends to realise if they really love their girlfriends or not lah.

Kim, she jolly well knw that Michael's attached but she still wans to get him. Pple alwys say, you shld fight for your own happiness. Even if the other party's attached? Would you wan the same thing to happen to you? Another person snatching your boyfriend jus because "you shld fight for your own happiness" ? There's perfectly nothing wrong in persuing wat you wan but stop and think hw does it affect the other pple. I knw there are really selfish idiots out there.

But i have to say this movie really makes me rethink abt relationships and love. . .

Tis is the price i had to pay for taking cab to work on Tuesday morning.

The MRT service was down cause somebody (dun knw purposely or accidentally) (jump or fall) down the tracks.

I waited for about 50 mins to finally get a cab to get me to my work place. I know for sure that i will be awfully late for work so i msg Mr Yeo that i will be V late.

This is his reply:
"take yr time switch on music and enjoy"

I haven't blog anything abt him yet bt soon to come. Ya... and i really diaplayed the "relax, chill" kind of attitude. Flipping thru my 8days while trying to call 3 cab companies but were all enagaged except for Silvercab but they have no cabs available for me.

The taxi Uncle was kinda reclutant to take me. He told me that he avoided a couple of customers along the way to the MRT taxi stand, only to end up taking me who is gg to town.

The thing is, i should have taken the Jurong East line instead of wasting of $22.90. Cause the waiting time for taxi is equivalent to the time spent taking Jurong East line. I really hate myself for this. I dun tink "out of the box" at times.

The previous evening i was jus taking to him abt saving money...

Movies by the Beach

Sunday Night, Movie at Sentosa.

I dun believe in going out on sunday nights cause i strongly believe that sundays nights are meant to stay at home to prepare for the mood to wk the next day.

But i must say, this Movies by the Beach thing is really worth changing the norm.

The movie shown was 'The Holiday'. The movie itself wasnt fantastic but its the location that scored points for the night.

Under the Night sky wif a couple of stars (for a couple of mins during the show, i was infact admiring the sky instead of concentrating on the movie), light breeze from the so called "sea", sitting on the groundsheet with the sand underneath, it was really relaxing and comfortable. A very different experience from watching movies in theatres. I must say i really enjoyed this experience.

The highlight of the night is the "Lucky Draw". Initially, the staff announced prizes like 'goodies bags'. I was kinda like......ok loh.....NO BIG DEAL. BUT here comes the BIG DEAL! They are not only giving out goodies bags, they are generous enough to give out a night's stay at the various resorts in Sentosa! OMG!

"A night stay's in this resort's deluxe room", "A night stay's in this resort's roof top room".....

For a moment, i desperately wan to win one of the stays! Sentosa Resort leh.... known to be very expensive and it would be a great early 1 yr anniversary present. But, i came back empty-handed lah.

Hahaha.........next time...maybe I will win?
