X'mas 07 @ The Link

X'mas 07 was spent at The Link Hotel, also known as a Boutique hotel. Its my first time visiting a Boutique Hotel.

There are 4 themes of rooms: the Chinese, the Malay, the Indian and the Modern.

We wanted to choose the Chinese theme initally but its all taken up so we decided on our prediscussed 2nd choice, the Indian theme.

The room itself is small but the furniture and the whole gives it a cosy and comfortable feeling.

Its Flat Panel TV

X'mas Day Bfast. Tea, Coffee and Log Cake from Coffee Bean. The tea and cake wasn't that fantastic but i enjoyed the bfast session though.

Japanese Goodies

Siaw Hui just came back from another Japan trip recently and brought back some "japanese goodies".

The 2 star goodies of the pack...

This is the best! jelly i have ever tasted before. I never bluff ok. It is so juicy and tastes like the real fruit itself! Even the packaging is classy

and of course, the legendary "Shiroi Koibito cookies". A specialty of hokkaido. It can be said to be the "must buy" when you visit Hokkaido. But according to Emme, you can get it at the airport too but i don't seem to see any of it the other time i went. :(

Don't fret people, when i go, i promise to haul back tons of these! :)

An Early X'mas Present

this afternoon, my brother came into my room while i was busy mopping the floor. After a few secs, there was slience and i knew something isnt too right. I lifted up my head and saw him reading my note... and when i called out to him, he continued reading and smiling.

Bro: wah, this is ur early x'mas present ah.

Me: hmm....there will be another actual x'mas present.

Bro: wah, how he sent this ah?

Me: by post lah, the envelope is just there.

Bro: wah....so ma fan.

Me: ai ya, u dont know wan la...

Bro: if its me ah, i tell you, i will bring my gf to the shop, ask her which one she like then take and pay money. Then give her the thing + the plastic bag.... Wahahaha!

Me: wah lau! you so not romantic de.

Just secs after i have managed to upload the pic after several failed attempts, my brother walked into the room and spotted the sock.

Bro: i wan to wear ur socks. :p

Me: dont touch my thing la...

Bro: i open ok...

Me: dont la!

I have to try to make ends meet this month but someone actually lost $600 in mahjong this week.

How nice if i can have that $600 right?

Coincidence or Predestined?

Call it coincidence..... why not say its predestined instead.

Weather

Its the year end and have been feeling kinda restless and emotional lately.

Been quite slack at work which i am ashame of but i just cant help it.

Blame it on the gloomy weather which makes my mood gloomy too.
Blame it on the fact that its year end, giving me the perfect excuse that its time to slow things down a bit.

But come to think of it, things have been going pretty slow for me. No sooner or later, i will be in the old folks home. I am not complaining by the way.

Did i mention before that i passed my exams :) Haha! I got a credit for the repeated module. Business Finance was a lucky Pass. I believe i am really lucky for this.

So i will be taking another 3 modules next semester. If as according to the coordinator, i might be able to take 4 modules in the Jul semester and might... might be able to graduated next year end. :) the of though of this is making me happy!

It would be great if i can graduated on time instead of dragging another half a year. Cause i have my plans! plus I will be more "free" when this huge burden is lift off my shoulders.

So this means i have to study and pray really hard next year :(

Wonder if i can really execute my Hokkaido plans next year when i dun have that much leave and $ to spare. But with the $1500 claims on hand, wahahaha!

Offical Statement

Its official. My brother has made it official to my mum that he smokes.

But my mum never do anything to him. Its not that i was expecting her to bring the cane or any family drama but i guess the only reason to explain this is that ....

we are grown ups.

I do wonder, if its me, how would my mum react? Hahaha!

btw, my cousin came over my place the other day and my brother presented him a can of heineken. Come my dad asked my brother "you go and take one can and drink also lah"
