The Real Fire Drill

On wed, i experienced a real fire drill at the building that i worked in.

All it started when i was....as usual with my mp3 on, eyes on the screen, half dreaming, half working. Then i felt a MOVE on the building and immediately, its BLACKOUT in the whole office (and i nvr save my work sia..... ok ok...... its not important).

Naturally, i didnt even it too much thought as what seems to me was just another normal blackout.

secs later..... XXXX XXXX came running out from the a/cs dept screaming "you guys still not going to run??? there's fire inside!!!!!!!! Grab your bags and run now!!!!!!"


HUH! FIRE!!!

first thing....ok ..... a/cs dept got fire??? ok..... then we have to get out....

BUT

i tot that we are not supposed to take our bags as any delays could meant threat to our lives!!!
At least i was told that by teachers...

Looking across to the other dept people in front of me, the ladies are starting to move out with their bags.....

ok....then...i shall take my bag.... and erm.....yes....Handphone.

then i quickly walked briskly to the entrance and towards the staircases... I know the route...or rather the procedure......cause we do have our annual fire drill exercise.

Mdm NNNNN....hahaha was like a speed boat! Behind me, speeded past me and eventually appear in front of me just in a FLASH!

As i was moving down, i began to feel pai seh for bringing my bag! so auntie!!! BUT i suddenly recalled....."ai YA!!! shit!!! my Mp3!!!

and i believed that my floor is the first of all to leave the office... cause it was until ard 5th floor then i saw pple coming out of the office.

This whole process of escaping, i was alone cause both Sartha and Peck sia are not around...

Ok.....then....everything was procedural... to assemble at the field...
then Mr Yeo called... "where are you???" Come down alrdy????"
Me: ya ya....come down liao.

SOON....fire engine sped past me......several fire engines ok....and one ambulance.

as i was still in the state of amusement, i overheard some ladies commenting "hai....should have brought my bag down"

HAAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! i have my BAG!

mins later Mr Yeo called again.... "eh....i go drink kopi hor..."
Me....ah! -_-" !!!


At the assemble area, YYYYYY asked for Peck Sia and Sartha.
I said "oh.....she went to see doc and Sartha MC"

Standing around, my imagination starts to wonder.....
What if Peck Sia was on her way baack when this thing broke out!
Would she be trapped in the lift???

After i reunited with Maimunah, i discussed with her the possibilities...
Ok.....then i decided to msg Peck Sia.
ten mins.....no reply

Me: maimunah, peck sia nvr reply sia...
Maimunah: sometimes lift no reception one....
Me: !
Me: maybe she talking to doc lah.....

after a while, i decided to send another msg.
ten mins after the second msg was sent, still no reply.

Shall i call her? was what went on my mind....

Before i need to make the decision, we were asked to go back!

Diao!!!

Then i msged her then everything's FINE liao!!! HAHAHA!!!

Winnie and i were the first to go back to office...
back in the office, i made the decision to go toilet....but was kinda worried...SO...

Me: winnie...i go toilet hor.....later wan to escape again then you come toilet and look for me hor...

Winnie: ok !!!

After back from the toilet, Peck Sia finally replied me....
