Europe 2011

I want to go Europe next year. Yes, in 2011.

Since Emmeline says that she will be back by June 2011 so it would be sooo much fun if she's there and we go over.

I've been on the office's restricted Wikipedia site everyday, doing my reading on the places in Europe.

I know it would be impossible to visit the whole AREA in just one visit especially with limited funds and leave and especially when i just spoke to a colleague who just came back from Paris and London. She said Paris is freaking expensive with a coffee coming to 10 sing dollars and a chicken salad with a price tag of 20 over sing dollars! :(

I shall still harbour the hope and work towards the plan on visiting Europe in 2011 and see how it will turns out to be.

Been looking at these few places: Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, France and Luxembourg.
Well, actually i really really wanted to go Sweden (it's my dream destination :p ) but I think it's kinda bit too far.

But, believe me, I will try hard to save :p

15th day of Lunar New Year

This happened that the toilet in office on friday...

Colleague 1: "Xiao Jie, you know this sunday is the last day of chinese new year. The tradition is that woman will go to the river and throw mandarin oranges to wish that they will find their spouse."

Colleague 2: "Nowadays, people don't go and throw mandarin oranges anymore. They throw their spouses into the Singapore River!"

Me: "Yeah! Right"


Today is the last day of Lunar New Year. :( How fast...
I have always like Lunar New Year more than any other celebrations. I like it when people fuss over Lunar New Year, the food, the atmosphere and of course the holidays.
It will be another long year for my favourite celebration to come!

With Effect from 1st Jan 2010

With effect from 1st Jan 10, we have a new boss.
My previous boss has been posted to another section.

Well, it's been a month's plus that we have this new young boss. He's nice and all :)
However, there are times whereby Sartha and I will spending some time missing our old boss's signature laugh coming from his office and not forgetting the times he requesting for the "File Index" and we both will start rolling our eyes :p
