6th month

Guess what?
We had our first argument on our 6th month mark.

That's if I remembered correctly that 20th is the date.

And I freaking don't like us to argue and be hostile with each other.

After Yoga today, he came to fetch me and we went for dinner.
He asked if I had anything before Yoga. I told him I had a little meal which my mum cooked.

He asked why didn't I go back home to eat instead and waste money.

How much would a dinner for two cost at a coffeeshop.
What's more important is that I get to spend time with him. However, he thinks whatever I said is crap because I made him angry earlier and I am just trying to make up for my mistakes.
One of the push factor for Yoga during my lazy days is that I could see him if he fetches me.

It's tiring to chase.
It's tiring to keep up.
and It's tiring to maintain too.

It's all making me very tired.

Breast Meat

I have to start falling in love with chicken breast meat because he complained that I eat all the thigh meat and leave him with all the breast meat.

cancer

You be feeling a little angry and uptight today, and things may not be going the way you'd planned them to just now. Be on guard for time wasters who divert your attention from matters at hand by leading you to believe that their agendas are far more important. At the end of the day, meet your love ones and everything will be beautiful.

He sent me this the other day. He copied the reading from somewhere and edited the last statement. I thought this was kinda cute and had me smiling to myself.

Weekends

What do I look forward to in the weekends? (Not accordingly to order of preference)

1. To waking up late. As late as possible.
2. To waking up with him beside me.
3. To fall asleep holding his hand.
4. To do nothing with him.
5. To hold his hand and shop around.
6. To watch TV with him.
7. To go around stuffing him and myself crazy with food.
8. To not having to work.
9. To kiss him.
10. To have saturday breakfast with my mum.

Tromso...**Part 2

The place where we called Home during our Tromso stint, AMI Hotel.

Toilet and Bath is shared in AMI. However, we have a basin for basic washing up.

Shared bath and it was so clean whenever I step in at any time of the day for shower.

Xiao Hui and I shared the double bed while Ruby had the single.

The kitchen where Xiao Hui fed us well during the stay.
Dispenser that dispense coffee and hot chocolate 24/7

Common area which houses breakfast, computer and TV.

We didn't eat out at all when we were in Tromso. Breakfast was by the Hotel, with the same menu everyday. 3/4 boiled eggs, bread, biscuits, cereals, vegs, assorted hams, milk, juices.

Lunch and dinner are all home-cooked food. Xiao Hui brought some sacues, canned food and even cooked rice when we made our stopover in Emmeline's house in Milan. Fresh produce, we got it from the local supermarket. She tried to make use of what's available and try to whip up a delicious and home sick remedy for us. That's why, I love travelling with her. She will bring Singapore with her. We both can't live without chinese food and can't survive well with western food. Luckily, with Xiao Hui around makes homesick easier for me.
The same breakfast every morning by AMI.

When you cook, you can save a hefty amount on food which is a bomber in Tromso.
ABC soup just simply makes me miss my mum soooo much! Fried onion egg, upon my request! :)

Chicken wing, my all time favourite!!! Ruby doesn't eat chicken skin. Of course, Me, the skin eater, happily eat up all the skin for her. How can we waste food! :p

Baked Salmon. Whatever the "fresh from Norway". What's the fuss. We eat FRESH SALMON here in NORWAY.

How can I leave home away a bowl of Laksa instant noodles.

Sardine Sphagetti!

Squeezable Travel Tube

He finds my Muji travel bottles too diffcult to pour out the fluids, so he bought these for me, the squeezable travel tubes. This is not cheap. It cost him 55ml for $13.90 and he got for me 2 of it.

Tromso...**Part 1

The scene outside our room window. Imagine waking up to snow! How bless was that.

The best trip I have ever had. Norway and Italy in March.
When I told people that I am visiting Norway and Italy, they are pretty puzzled as to why these 2 places cause they are quite far apart from each other. Usually people who choose Italy, France or Switzerland.

Emmeline is in Italy so Milan is a MUST. So is Rome. If you didn't visit Rome, you just simply can't tell anyone that you have visited Italy. Italy will be in the coming entry.

Norway is for Northern Lights. For that, we had to travelled all the way up to Tromso. But alas, it's a trip that I would encourage everyone to embark on at least once in a life time, the quest for Northern Lights. Please don't get intimidated by the word "Norway" and that would be = to Expensive. We did things the budget way. Reasonably budget and we had the greatest time.

A beautiful dog and the good looking owner at Tromso Airport. I LOVE TROMSO! :p

Winter Tromso simply took my breathe away and there wasn't any pinch of exaggeration at all.
Every corner I turned was a postcard scene.

This is the only time when camera has lost it's purpose because all I wanted is to capture the night view of Tromso in my mind more than anything else.
Don't I see this from the travel magazine.
This is classified as a highly hazedous path because we all each, slipped a couple of times here.

This day was snowing!

Right from the plane, when we were about to land Tromso airport, we caught a blurish glimpse of the Northern Lights! The snow scene from the plane had me feeling like a kid seeing snow for the first time. Yes. for the first time, I am witnessing and feeling and touching snow.It was just like the way how Enid Blyton stories are told. Beautiful is not even enough to describe it.

The best time for Northern Lights is from 9pm to 12am. It all depends on your luck. It's a period of waiting and waiting and waiting in the cold. The 1st night of our quest, we walked through snow, LOTsss of SNOW to the lake where we were told that over there has a fair chance of witnessing the lights as that was one of the darkest location. The point is, you need ti find a dark location with no lights to be able to have the lights much visible to you. The route was long and quiet. There was hardly anyone other than us in the midst of the snow field!
It was fun walking in the snow. Xiao Hui, I believe had a great time falling and slipping and I couldn't stop laughing. We didn't stayed long enough because it was just simply too freaking cold to be out. But the fortunate thing is, we managed to catch it on our way back to the hotel. On the streets! Ruby and I couldn't stop screaming.

In order to maximise our chances of witnessing the natural phenomena, we took a cruise out to the dark sea to booast our chances on the lights. But fate has it, we didn't had much of the luck that night if not, it would be terrific because out at sea was pitch dark. The best "lighting" for the lights.

On the bus trip to the harbour to board the cruise
Enid Blyton comes alive

3 course meal on board

We signed up for snow shoe trekking which gave us the chance to "run" freely in the snow. Every where we turned are mountains and mountains covered with snow.

Yes. The key word here is SNOW!

Dog Sledgging...too exp for us but we tried snow shoe trekking and we had much fun!

One of the fun things I did in the snow.

Travis

When I have a dog, or rather, I would like to have a dog, a golden retriever.
It will be called Travis.
So I supposed it has to be a male dog.

Well, I don't mind having a male dog actually. Or rather, I would like to have a male dog.
But just it's that, if you know what I mean.

Breakfast Tea

I usually don't finish my breakfast tea. So there will be leftovers.
I would pour the leftovers into the sink and throw the empty cup into the dustbin.

Today, this act was caught by the cleaner auntie. Upon seeing this. She uttered a "thank you" to me which had me quite taken aback.
By pouring away the remains of the fluids instead of throwing the cups with fluids makes her job of clearing the dustbin at ease.

Rubbish bags get torn and just imagine the messy scene.
Not to mention, some not only just throw the cups but THROW them into the dustbin causing some splash around.

It's just an insignaificant act to me but it means so much to the other.

However, if you think in another way, this should be a "must do" kind of act but because not everyone is doing it and thus, it wasn't taken for granted.
When God wants to give you something, there is no way you could reject it.

When God wants to take something away from you, there is no way you can stop it from slipping away from you too.

Beauty Sleep

Ying Ying said beauty sleep is from 11pm to 2am.
How am I to get beauty sleep when I sleep at 12plus, 1 am almost everynight.

So please excuse me if I look like shit everyday.

Captain American

Just watched Captain American earlier.

Didn't bring my caradigan with me and the theatre was freaking cold and got me all shivering.
We got the couple seats so there is no divider in between. The holder for the drink is on both of our sides. The drink is on my side so it is my duty to hand him the drink during the movie.

I passed the drink to him and he took the drink over from me. Naturally, I should be the one holding the drink till he and I finished drinking since the drink was from my side.
He said he hold the drink as my hands are cold.
He leaned over to put the drink back the holder at my side.
